Shape the future of your housing service - get involved today!

We are developing our full Tenant Engagement offer and have exciting opportunities for you to get involved and make a difference.

Tenant Voice Group

This group will help us understand residents’ priorities, review and feedback on service performance and co-design future improvements. It will meet eight times a year both in-person and online for 2 hours, with some pre-reading.

Chair of Tenant Voice Group

The Group will have a Chair who will also serve as a member of the Housing Strategy Delivery Board, chaired by the Councillor who is the Cabinet member for Housing, so that the voice of our tenants is heard at the highest level of oversight and delivery. As with the Group itself training and support will be provided.

Housing Complaints Panel

Meeting four times a year with in-person and virtual options. Panel members review anonymised complaints, identify common themes, and help us strengthen our approach to resolving complaints fairly, consistently and effectively.

B&D Housing Voices

A flexible involvement route where residents can take part in online surveys and consultations, feedback activities, and topic‑based discussions and sessions. Opportunities are shared throughout the year directly, so you can choose how you want to be involved.

Co-creating a new Tenant Charter

We want tenants to help shape our new Tenant Charter, which will set out our commitments to you, ensuring it reflects tenants’ real experiences, priorities and expectations. Sessions will be held across the borough this Autumn, giving tenants an opportunity to help shape what our commitments should look like.

By taking part, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Share your views and experiences
  • Influence decisions about housing services
  • Help shape and improve our services
  • Help improve housing for tenants and residents across the borough
